Artist Profile:
I was born in Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1958. I have worked as a programmer analyst, mother, volunteer, artist and in the future, a psychotherapist. My art expresses me in each of these roles.
Artist Statement:
My artist practice unfolds through research, investigation and experimentation of my surroundings and my life history. With understanding, acceptance, caring and knowledge of wherever and however I am led, I will be thrown into new experiences, new relationships, new ideas.
My excitement comes through the thrill of understanding anew something mundane and ordinary which comes to life in a new idea – a new process. I share my experiences with others through the visual forms on canvases, boards or paper.
