I was born and raised in Greece, and attended the School of Fine Arts in Athens on scholarship. Shortly after I moved to Canada and completed a degree in Interior Design at Ryerson.
For several years after I worked in my husband’s company looking after the marketing of computer graphics products, and in parallel started building my own company, Litsa Parker Interior Design.
I had a very fulfilling career in design, working with prestigious clients on large, challenging projects from Forest Hill to Muskoka. I would paint when I had a chance during those years, but since retiring in 2015 it has been a daily passion which fills much of my free time.
My work is mostly landscapes and some portraits. I have taken various painting courses in the past five years and I intend to continue to learn and improve any time I have the chance.
In August 2020 I decided to join WAAC. I am excited about it and I look forward to meeting other artists. I am also looking forward to participating in shows.
