Barbara Andersen

Artist Bio

Barbara Andersen is inspired by the beauty of nature (the mountains, trees, sky and ocean). She continues to explore both watercolour and acrylic mediums to create an expression of the mood in the subject material around her. Her artistic interests began by painting landscapes and seascapes on location with watercolour, using the three primary colours. She also creates objective and abstract works using acrylics. Barbara’s original paintings have been in several exhibitions, and many are now in private collections throughout North America. She attended classes at OCAD, has participated in many workshops, and continues to expand her skills by pursuing other individual courses in artistic creativity.
