Carol Cormier

Artist Bio

I am a self taught artist who loves to explore a variety of media and styles. I took my first art class at 50 and continue to indulge in on-line classes. I would describe myself as a mixed media artist, using watercolours, acrylics, ink, collage and textiles. I was an elementary school teacher and passed on my love of art to my students, especially in the latter half of my career. I retired from teaching in 2017 and joined WAAC a year later. I am about to partake in my third solo show in RUG and will be featuring my other passion which is photography.
