Artist Bio

Raised along the Ganaraska and Otonabee rivers, Emily now resides in Toronto and works as a multi-disciplinary artist whose current practice involves sustainable material practices, ritualistic poetry, audio and visual collage, and cut-up techniques. Emily is currently finishing a BFA in Drawing and Painting at OCAD university, and has previously studied Screenwriting and Poetry at the University of Toronto, and Cultural Studies, Theatre, and Philosophy at Trent University. Current projects include: their first chapbook of collected poetry, presented as a bestiary, a collaborative album of improvised songs, a comic, an interactive installation series, and a series of nocturnes.
