Artist Bio

After a career in technology, I went on to study Art History at Le Louvre in Paris, painting and drawing at Fei Fan Hua Shi in Beijing and later became a student of Costa Vavagiakis and Larry Poons at the Arts Students League of New York. I am currently a member of the Art Students League of New York and was a member of the former Al Green Sculpture Studio in Toronto. My work has shown in New York, Florida, Toronto as well as Seoul. Whether it's painting or sculpting , or something in between, my pieces are mostly abstract. I treat subjects that are close to my heart, sometimes serious ones but often I find myself removing the pretentiousness of the attempt by making the form, the color or texture more playful.
