Sophia Markelj is a photographer who specializes in lifestyle and food photography. Her work combines storytelling and creative styling with expertise in technical production. Inspired by quirky, colourful images, Sophia has learned the importance of capturing the viewer’s attention. She enjoys creating juxtapositions and visual metaphors in her work and is always looking for ways to push her creativity, primarily focusing on explorations of colour and texture. Passionate about creating art that evokes emotion, Sophia strives to create images that allow viewers to reflect and question their meaning. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography from Toronto Metropolitan University.
