Artist Bio
After more than forty years devoted to teaching, scientific research, and medical practice, Sylvain Baruchel has embraced an artistic path that, in its own way, extends the questions of care and knowledge. Along the way, he has discovered that art and medicine share far more than one might expect: a shared curiosity, a profound creativity, and a generosity directed toward others. Both disciplines are built on the formulation of hypotheses, on paths marked by trials, errors, by obstacles to overcome, and by a patient search for meaning. Sylvain Baruchel pursues an exploration born of this proximity, a fertile dialogue between science and art, between rigor and intuition, between the visible and the invisible.
