Diane Kruger

Professor Diane Margaret Kruger LLB JD CD is a lawyer and forensic expert in private practice in Toronto.

She served with the Canadian Forces for over thirty years, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel with the Judge Advocate General Branch. She is a recipient of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee medal.

Diane is a graduate of the University of Toronto and OCAD University. For her studio thesis year at OCAD, Diane completed a documentary series of paintings on notable Canadian women, including Chief Justice Beverley McLachlin, astronaut Dr. Roberta Bondar and athlete Hayley Wickenheiser. She had a solo show of these ten paintings at the Dignam Gallery in May 2014 and participated in the Mercedes Benz juried exhibition 2014-2015. In April 2016 Diane had a solo exhibition at the Ruth Upjohn Gallery depicting female trailblazers in the Royal Canadian Air Force, which was followed with an exhibition in 2018 on notable women in the Royal Canadian Navy. She is currently at work on a series featuring women in the Canadian Land Forces.

Diane is a past President of the Arts and Letters Club of Toronto and a studio artist at the WAAC.
