As a landscape painter Nature is my Source, both physically
and spiritually, and frequently becomes a metaphor for Life itself.
In my studio at The Women’s Art Association I paint paintings in
watercolour, oil, acrylic, oil pastel and oil stick, as well as with pencil and
with pen and ink from sketches done on location or from memory.
Born in Brantford, Ontario, and an honour graduate of OCA, I have taught
Visual Arts in Public and Secondary Schools as well as adult classes, was
co-owner/director of the former Hayter Gallery, designed and illustrated the
book, ‘Island Flavours’, and have drawings reproduced in several publications.
I frequently exhibit in solo and group shows and have drawings and paintings
in private collections.
I am fortunate to live surrounded by my Source on the Toronto Island as well as in Muskoka.
