“I work in oil and pastel.  My goal is always to create a painting with richness, mystery, simplicity, balance and focus.  I use a painterly, expressive style.  I paint realism with a hint of underlying abstraction.  I find inspiration in the textures, colours, movements and sounds of my surroundings.  There is beauty all around us.”
