Orshy Mulqueen is recognized for her watercolor impressionistic style, which is ever evolving, creating unusual abstract transparency effects. Adventuresome, expressing her feelings, also through acrylics’ bold colors and brush strokes. She hopes her art speaks to you as it does her.
Mulqueen’s love of nature, not only plays a huge part in her art but also in her eclectic creative lifestyle. Seeking solace in the tranquility and beauty of nature, after loosing her husband to cancer, inspired her to paint.
Her love of the outdoors, led her to plein-air painting lessons, in Mexico and France, the heart of French impressionism.
Exhibited in galleries and Art-Walks, Mulqueen is a Board Member of the Toronto Women’s Art Association.
