Visitor Experience

Visitors will be guided on tours throughout the house. The two galleries and artist studios will be open with artists present. The Dignam Art Gallery will present an exhibition by Ankara Library, and the Ruth Upjohn Gallery will feature WAAC member artist MaryLou Hurley’s solo exhibition. The book sales will take place at the Dignam Gallery.

Physical Accessibility 

Access Limitation: We have 8 stairs to the main entrance. With assistance, visitors with walkers can easily enter the building to view the two main-floor galleries, back deck, and sunken garden. The garden has a concrete path that descends from the parking lot. The adjacent street-level parking lot will also have an exhibition and sale of artist works. The two main-floor washrooms are large enough to accommodate a walker. The second-floor library and second and third-floor artist studios would be limited to visitors who can climb stairs.
