CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS:
A LARGE Art Affair

The WAAC Exhibitions Committee invites member artists to submit their large-scale Artwork to A LARGE Art Affair exhibition running from Thursday, February 22, 2024 to Saturday, March 9, 2024 in Dignam Gallery & Ruth Upjohn Gallery.
The sheer scale and grandeur size of these pieces is an integral part of the artistic narrative. From expansive landscapes to intricate abstract compositions, these colossal creations invite you to explore the intersection of space, form, and imagination.
* This call is exclusively open to all WAAC Members.
All visual mediums are eligible. This includes, but not limited to, drawing, painting, photography, video, sound, sculpture, book art, and print.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENT
* One artwork between perimeter 192″ (48″H x 48″W) to perimeter 288″ (72″H x 72″W) including the frame
SALES: All artwork must be for sale. A 20% commission applies on all sales, including work that is sold between the submission date and the installation date, plus up to two weeks after the show closes. Artists are responsible for managing their own sales. It is highly recommended to sign-up for certain days to greet visitors to the gallery, especially on Saturdays.
SUBMISSION FEE: $40 (Payable by e-transfer to waac@womensartofcanada.ca by Friday, February 16, 2024.)
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Friday, February 16, 2024 — 11:30pm
ARTWORK INTAKE: Tuesday February 20, 2024 — 11:00am to 4:00pm
SHOW INSTALLATION: Wednesday February 21, 2024
EXHIBITION RUN: Thursday February 22, to Saturday March 9, 2024
RECEPTION: Saturday February 24, 2024 — 1 to 4pm
ARTWORK PICK-UP: Tuesday March 12, 2024 10am — 1pm
