En Plein Air: Win Keenan-Kuplowsky Solo Exhibition

Winifred Keenan-Kuplowsky is a visual artist who is known for her impressionistic oil paintings. “I strive to render a perspective of the world in all its uniqueness and singularity.”

Win is an active elected member of the Women’s Association of Canada, Society of Canadian Artists, and the Colour and Form Society. She placed third in the Colour and Form Members Competition 2024, garnered an Honourable Mention in the Colour and Form Open Juried Exhibition 2023, and won the People’s Choice Award in the 9th International Juried Brush Off Competition in 2023.

Win was awarded the John Mlacak Award for her work Reeling and Healing at the 8th Brush Off Competition in 2022, an international juried painting competition in support of Alzheimer’s awareness presented by Galerie Avenue Art in Montreal, Quebec. That same year, her September Garden placed first at the En Plein Air Competition held by the McMichael Gallery in Kleinburg, Ontario.

September Garden, which placed first in the McMichael En Plein Air Competition 2022 for works on canvas/panel, would have been included in this exhibition. However, it may currently be viewed in the 72nd Colour and Form Open Juried Exhibition at the Etobicoke Civic Centre, 399 The West Mall, until Thursday, November 28.

Win will be present throughout the exhibition for a few hours each day, with a social reception on Saturday, November 23, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
