The Women’s Art Association of Canada is pleased to present: “Ikigai: Photography” by member Kyungmin Kate Lee.
Kyungmin Kate Lee is a Toronto-based contemporary photography artist and instructor. She understands social space in life changes. In order to explore the concepts of one’s identity and sociality, realistic moments of life are filmed in familiar and diverse places. She shows her affection for life in her photos and invites viewers to share her photographic feelings about the true rest she finds in reality. She approaches reality from an observer’s point of view with digital infrared techniques, separate colour layers, and variable medium and expresses colourful sensibilities with analog and digital mechanisms.
