Artist Statement

I am an abstract/expressionist artist.  I have always painted, and I started to pursue art seriously many years ago after working in the corporate world and raising my family. I paint with acrylic on canvas and paper.  I love to apply layers of colours and texture to entice the viewer to become enveloped in the pieces that are created.   The experience is so fulfilling that art has become a true passion and the expression of my love of the process.  I have studied with exceptional teachers and I am continually learning.   I will continue to explore and grow as an artist.
