The WAAC Gallery Committee invites member artists of all mediums to submit their unique perspectives to the Monochrome Moments 2025 exhibition running from Thursday, February 6, to Saturday, February 22, 2025 in Dignam Gallery. Explore the depth, emotion, and diversity achievable within the classic dichotomy of light and shadow. Unleash your creativity in shades of black and white! This exhibition will showcase the power of simplicity and the profound narratives that unfold when colour takes a step back.
This call is exclusively open to all WAAC Members.
All visual mediums are eligible. This includes, but not limited to, drawing, painting, photography, video, sound, sculpture, book art, and print. Submitted artworks cannot have colour. Artworks must follow strict black and/or white monochrome.
NUMBER OF ARTWORKS
1 large — Maximum 48″x48″ including the frame (works cannot exceed 48″ on any side)
1 or 2 medium — Maximum 22″x22” each including the frame
or 3 small — Maximum each 13″x13″ including the frame
Maximum dimensions include the frame, and applies to any sculpture’s surface area. Larger works will not be accepted.
SALES: All artwork must be for sale. WAAC will process the sale on behalf of the artist. A handling and service fee applies on all sales between the submission date and the closing date of the show, plus up to two weeks after the show closes (20% of the sale price for Members).
It is highly recommended to sign-up for certain days to greet visitors to the gallery. Visitors love to meet the artists, and are more likely to support after meeting the artist.

RECEPTION: Saturday, February 8, 2025 — 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
ARTWORK PICK-UP: Tuesday, February 25, 2025 — 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
