Artist statement/bio

Toronto Based Freelance Visual Artist.

Maggie Broda BFA, Associate of OCA, Member of OCT,

Visual Artist, Writer, and Educator. Her work is in private collections throughout Canada, the US, and the UK.

She is on the OCAD University Board of Governors, President OCADU Alumni Association, Elaine Fleck Contemporary Art Catalogue interviewer/writer/ artist, Muskoka Arts and Craft Member, Executive Member at John B Aird Gallery, President of The Women’s Art Association of Canada and Studio Artist.

My paintings express passion and style, created in acrylic with brush and palette knife. The texture and movement captures the poetic spirituality that is inherent in art.
