The “Salon Style” of art exhibits originated in Paris, The City of LOVE and with February being the month of LOVE, artists were asked to create works of what LOVE means to them.
A brief history of one artist in question, Ulla Djelweh is a Toronto-based interdisciplinary artist with a passion for travel, foreign cultures and her interest in landscapes, gardens and architecture often plant the seed for a visual story.
Susan Farquhar is another Toronto-based artist whose career as a professional printmaker molded her approach to art and artistic processes. Her work has involved the interaction of visual ideas about the physical environment and the stories of its inhabitants.
The exhibition will be visible online until February 13 and a digital catalogue of all the artworks will be displayed available online for download. Artworks will also be available for sale in the online store until April 25th.
The Zoom Opening Reception & Artist Talks will take place on Saturday, February 5, from 2 to 4 pm, and available for free here.
