Nina Amin – “Hearing Soul”

yumart gallery is delighted to introduce our newest gallery artist Nina Amin. Her solo exhibition opens next Saturday, October 3rd at 12:00 p.m. Nina is an accomplished, mature painter who has been working steadily on her practice for over 20 years.
“Over the recent years, I have been drawn to exploration in abstract expressionism with nature as inspiration. My journey to self-actualization has been through the exploration of gestural abstraction; it has broken down the unknown barriers and awoken in me, a new world with different challenges.” Nina Amin, 2020
We will have reduced hours for the next few months (Wednesday to Saturday, noon to four p.m.) and of course masks are mandatory.

There are also a limited number of persons allowed in the gallery at any given time due to physical distancing guidelines (eight persons maximum) so opening receptions have been suspended until further notice.
yumart gallery is located on the lower concourse level of 401 Richmond Street West, at the north-east entrance near Peter Street. Gallery hours are Wednesday to Saturday, noon to four p.m. or by appointment.
