Salon 15 Exhibition

Salon 15 is an important marker as we celebrate our 25-years of supporting and empowering artists and our Members. Fifteen years ago, Propeller had a 2-week exhibition space open in its January programming and with only a 2-week lead, Keijo Tapanainen and Frances Patella put forth the idea of a classical Salon type of exhibition where members would invite other artists to show with them.

The response was overwhelming with over 200 works of art challenging the walls of the 984 Queen Street location.

Salon is a great opportunity for our collective to connect with fellow creative professionals, especially during this time of our isolation during the pandemic, in an exhibition that highlights our amazing artistic diversity. It has become a great annual art event and an anticipated fixture in Propeller’s yearly programming.

We are thrilled that over 100 artists responded to the invitation to join Members in a virtual show of 141 works during our 25th Anniversary.

Hopefully, we can return to our 30 Abell Street Gallery for the next Salon and look forward to seeing you all in person.
