Drawing workshop and PowerPoint presentation

Ed Pien will lead a drawing workshop, beginning with a PowerPoint presentation that highlights artists going beyond the boundaries of traditional drawing conventions.

The hands-on session aims to celebrate the potential of drawing by emphasizing different approaches to making a drawing.


Ed Pien is based in Toronto and has a BFA and MFA from Western and York universities, respectively. Over the past 40 years, he has exhibited extensively nationally and internationally, and taught art at various universities, including U of T, Concordia U, NSCADU, OCADU, and Emily Carr University.


Maximum number of participants: 16

Workshop fee: $30 (Not Refundable)

Materials to bring: paper (16″ x 20″ approx.) pencil, eraser, coloured pencils, masking tape
