Artist Bio

Kim Schott is a Port Dover based artist creating contemporary 2D mixed media work with hand painted eggshells. Working from intuition and allowing the porous, curved surface of the shell to guide the process, Kim's practice explores themes of transformation, light, and renewal. Kim draws inspiration from the natural world and the changing landscape along Lake Erie. Her work has been exhibited locally and in Toronto and is held in private collections.
