Artist Bio
Artist, Graphic & Fabric Designer, painter, Visual Arts Teacher, M.A. Ziba Salehi-Rahni is a professional multidisciplinary artist whose decades of work seamlessly blend traditional and contemporary approaches across graphic and fabric design, illustration, painting, typography, photography, and textiles. Her artistic practice is inspired by the intersection of science, nature, and the arts. Alongside her creative work, Ziba has dedicated many years to arts education, teaching at higher education institutions and school boards in Iran and Ontario. Through her leadership and innovative workshops, she encourages participants to explore the connection between tangible and intangible aspects of life, guided by her belief that “diversity and inclusion start with ourselves.” Ziba’s professional journey includes numerous exhibitions and awards in Iran and internationally. Her original Sassanid–Seljuk–inspired fabric designs are copyrighted and officially registered with the National Library and Archives of Iran (2007) and are available for licensed use. With degrees in Visual Communication and Fine Arts, Ziba has shared her expertise for over three decades through research, international exhibitions, and teaching. She runs a private 'Graphic Design & Fine Arts Studio' in Ontario, offering hands-on art experiences, portfolio preparation for universities of applied arts, private and group art classes, creative workshops, “Paint & Sip” events for all skill levels, custom painting, and commissioned artwork.
